Today in the UK marks the 40th anniversary of the release of arguably the most important collection of music ever recorded. On June 1, 1967, in the UK,The Beatles released their 8th album, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. The US anniversary is June 2, 1967. More information here from Wikipedia.

This is a superb album and one of my all time favourites, must upgrade to CD one day LOL
