There will be a ruling next week as to the admissibility of testimony from Phil Spector's ex-girlfriend Devra Robitaille in his pending murder trial. Devra told investigators Spector twice pointed a gun at her head, decades ago.
Prosecutors say this testimony will prove that Spector has "long history of gun-related violence directed at women."
Spector is accused in the shooting death of actress Lana Clarkson in 2003, in the foyer of his Alhambra, California mansion, following a night on the town. He met Clarkson late that night, at the House of Blues, where she worked as a hostess.
Although the coroner found her death to be a homicide, they additionally noted Clarkson had gunshot residue on both of her hands and may have pulled the trigger.
Jury selection in the case resumes April 16.
