After spending a good part of his life in a vicious slanging match with Fantasy Records, resulting in numerous lawsuits, a trail of bad blood, and an insulting song (Zaentz Can't Dance) to label chief Saul Zaentz, John Fogerty has suddenly re-signed with his old label. Of course, there will be an album, folks! Story here.
It should be noted that, although Zaentz can't dance, he sure knows quality when he sees it. He was first to purchase the film rights to Tolkien's Ring Trilogy,(netting him about $168M) and was also producer of One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest and The English Patient (Best Picture 1996). This December, he will release another remake of King Kong.
