Speaking during a promotional tour of Japan in support of their album "Mothership," Jimmy Page continued to hold out hope of a Led Zeppelin tour this year, though firmly stated it would not happen until after September, due to ongoing commitments by Robert Plant who is beginning a tour in April with Alison Krauss in support of their successful duet album, "Raising Sand."
Plans are afoot for the release of a DVD of Led Zeppelin's December 2007 reunion concert at London's O2, and Page continues to wax enthusiastic about the band and touring possibilities in the fall. More from Billboard.
When asked if loyal Zeppelin fans should be purchasing "Mothership," Page responded "No - I don't want you to buy it!" and explained that it is simply a repackaging of "Early Days" and "Latter Days." The band were not happy with the art work on these prior packages and now, with the new cover, featuring the Mittens of Monument Valley, they have declared themselves satisfied.
