Bob Dylan and Elvis Costello will hit the road for a 13-date fall tour together, beginning Sept. 22 in Duluth, GA. Amos Lee will also perform.The dates comprise Costello's first solo performances since 1995. Presale tickets for some shows are available now through Dylan's Web site.
Dylan is presently on a short visit to Australia and New Zealand, then will perform Sept. 16 at the Austin City Limits festival in Austin, Texas, before commencing the tour with Costello. Bob Dylan's musical legacy will be featured on a 51-track, three-disc retrospective "Dylan," due October 1 from Columbia.
Before the Dylan shows, Costello is playing dates with Steve Nieve as well as local symphony orchestras in Nashville, Cary, N.C., and Minneapolis.
